I'M BAAAAAAACCCCCKKK!

Home Sweet Home

Hey, I'm home! How cool is that? I got here about 3 p.m. on Saturday. It's good to be back in my own house with hubby and kitties, but I sure do miss the hospital's Craftmatic adjustable bed. :)

"REMARKABLE!"

Greetings from Shadyside Hospital! Well, the worst is over and I'm recovering extremely quickly and well. Today they disconnected me from all the funny little wires that were attached in a wide variety of places on my body (seriously, there's absolutely nowhere left to take blood from). I'm eating solid foods (vegetable lasagna, broccoli and boston cream pie for lunch! yum.), walking on the treadmill (slowly) and getting in and out of bed myself, without assistance, and with minimal discomfort. My doc came in this morning and said I could go home today if I wanted, or wait an extra day. He called my recovery "absolutely remarkable".

So, all said, everything is looking great. I may see you in the gym and I clod along on the treadmill, going about one mile per hour. But have a great week and hopefully I'll talk to you all soon.

This time tomorrow...

...it will all be over.
